JAMES P. SYLVESTRI

I (Bob Meli) spoke briefly to James Sylvestri on
February 9, 2011 at the Troast Club in Hackensack during the VFW meeting. 

He told me he attended Hackensack High School from 1961 until 1965 when he graduated.  He joined the
United States Air Force in 1966 and served until 1970
rising to the rank of Sergeant.
 
James Sylvestri was an Air Crewmen working on planes while serving in Vietnam.  He received the Vietnam Service medal, National Defense medal and a Unit Citation during his service.
